Gibson, the world's most iconic guitar brand, has shaped the sounds of generations of musicians and music lovers across genres for more than 100 years. Founded in 1894 and headquartered in Nashville, TN, Gibson Brands has a legacy of world-class craftsmanship, legendary music partnerships and progressive product evolution that is unrivaled among musical instrument companies. Gibson guitars represent the history as well as the future of the electric guitar. The models whose designs have become classics - the ES-175, ES-335, Flying V, Explorer, Firebird, SGs and Les Pauls - are a testament to Gibson's wide appeal, spanning more than four decades of music styles.

The Les Paul

Named after the Grammy winning Les Paul, we have one of the most recognizable and iconic guitar designs. Featuring collections like the Original collection, the Modern collection and even the Les Paul Modern Lite, there is something for every level of player and each collection continues the legacy of Les Paul.

The SG

Unique in body style, classic in design, the SG remains relevant, sought after and loved by guitarists around the world. Initially a Les Paul, Ted McCarty responded to the growing popularity of double-cut guitars in the market with the "devil horns" of the Solid Guitar (SG). A staple in the pantheon of classic guitar designs, this is the best-selling Gibson model of all time.

Hollow-bodies

Known for their vintage style these semi and hollow-body guitars are versatile and ideal for any genre of music, from jazz and blues to rnb and hip-hop. These guitars feature two different types of cutaways, Florentine and Venetian style, both names after Italian cities.

The Explorer and V's

Released in 1958, the Explorer offered a radical, "futuristic" body design. This guitar has become especially popular with among the hard rock and heavy metal musicians. Released at the same time as the Explorer and equally loved by musicians is the Flying V. Both of these iconic guitars share futuristic body designs and experienced an unsuccesful initial launch, but have since comeback and become a mainstay in many musician's collections.
